Every May during Commencement and Reunion Weekend, thousands of Brown alumni from years past and all over the world come together to reconnect, reminisce and welcome Brown’s newest graduates to the alumni community.
Kicking off on Friday with Campus Dance, this combined weekend celebration culminates in the University Procession, held on Sunday morning, in which alumni representing their class years march through the Van Wickle Gates, then line the streets around campus to cheer on the current year’s graduates. Reunion weekend also includes an array of class receptions, dance parties, a block party, affinity and multicultural programming, and more. This intergenerational celebration is a hallmark of the Brown experience, connecting Brunonians around the world and across the decades.
