Event Information and Resources
As part of Brown’s commitment to community safety and security, a new ticketing system for the 2026 Commencement and Reunion Weekend will be implemented that will include controlled access to campus buildings and outdoor spaces around the College Green.
Visitors coming to campus for Commencement and Reunion Weekend are encouraged to submit the guest accommodations form to identify their needs in advance, and to utilize all of Brown’s resources while here, including the Access Shuttle and Drop-Off Pass to get as close as possible to events.

Travel and Transportation
There are many hotels in Providence and nearby Warwick that are convenient to the University. Please remember to book a room early, as they sell out fast for Commencement weekend.
Specific driving directions are provided for guests and alumni coming to the Brown University campus for Commencement and Reunion Weekend. Follow this guidance to avoid street closures and high-traffic areas.
Brown provides free parking to Commencement and Reunion guests throughout the weekend, including an accessible parking lot, and shuttle service to and from parking lots and other areas around Providence.
Traveling by Air
Rhode Island's T.F. Green International Airport is 10 miles south of Brown, and Boston Logan International Airport is about an hour's drive from campus.
Arriving by Train
The Providence train station is served by Amtrak and the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA), which provides service between Boston and Providence. The station is a short walk or taxi ride to campus.
