Class of 2025 Baccalaureate Service
Brown University’s Baccalaureate Service, held at the First Baptist Church in America on Saturday, May 24, 2025, brings together the community’s many spiritual and cultural traditions. The service for graduating 2025 seniors features a keynote address by Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix.
2025 Graduate School Master’s Ceremony
Brown University Class of 2025 master’s graduates receive their degrees at the Master’s Ceremony on College Green on Saturday, May 24. The ceremony, presided over by Interim Dean of the School of Professional Studies Sandra R. Smith, includes opening remarks from President Christina H. Paxson, a speech by 2025 MPH graduate Akashleena Mallick and degree conferrals.

Brown University celebrates its 257th Commencement on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The daylong celebration includes the University Procession, College, doctoral, medical school and University ceremonies, departmental celebrations and other memorable moments for the Class of 2025.
2025 Doctoral Ceremony
Brown University Class of 2025 doctoral graduates receive their degrees at the Doctoral Ceremony on Pembroke Field on Sunday, May 25, 2025. The ceremony, presided over by Dean of the Graduate School Thomas A. Lewis, features award and degree presentations and a speech by 2025 Ph.D. graduate Melaine Ferdinand-King.
2025 Warren Alpert Medical School Ceremony
Graduates from The Warren Alpert Medical School Class of 2025 gather on Sunday, May 25, 2025 for the 51st Medical School Commencement Ceremony. The program includes addresses by Dr. Patricia Poitevien ’94, ’98 M.D., senior associate dean for diversity, equity and inclusion and associate professor of pediatrics, and Alisa Pugacheva ’20, M.D. Class of 2025; the reading of the Physician’s Oath; and the awarding of degrees.
